The Nutcracker, the holiday ballet classic, tells the story of a child's delight when a beloved toy magically comes to life and snowflakes dance. 34 years ago, Debra Punzi, had the dream of a ballet company that would allow young dancers to perform alongside professional ballet dancers. Ballet Long Island, as the company is now called, is a dream come to life.
Ballet Long Island/ The Ballet Center will provide costumes for the students in The Nutcracker.
